scotland-geography

Fisical geography:
His territory is about 19000km2 (about 30% of United Kingdom).
Its main division is the fault line which separates Highlands and Lowlands and it has lot of montains. In Highlands is the mount Grapianos and Lowlands are separated in Southern Uplands (agricultural land with very deep valleys) and Central Belt (same as Southern Uplands)
geography:
It has a very big diversity for such small place. Its oldest rock are gnessis (precambrican period) Next it was formend the sedimentary deposits (cambrican period). In this era, Scotland was very near to north polo.
After, the reliave was erosiones by air and water until today.
It has a very intensive volcanic activity (especially with suth volcanos, for example,Cairngorms)
Finally, some glaciations had formed the actually territory.
Nowadays, it is moving to north
